Hapkido is a highly eclectic Korean martial art. It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, grappling and throwing techniques, as well as kicks, punches, and other striking attacks. Hap-ki-do means “the way of coordinated power” and has roots in traditional Asian philosophy, seeking to facilitate harmony between the individual’s mind, body, and spirit through its practice.
This blog is about my experiences, views, and ramblings as an instructor and life long student of Hapkido.
